ZêzereArts welcomes applications from guest choirs wishing to join future Festival Choral Programmes, an amazing opportunity to spend time rehearsing and performing in some of Portugal’s most treasured heritage monuments in the stunning Médio-Tejo region.
Featured Choirs bring their own chosen programme performing to an audience of local and international music lovers, and also work together with the ZêzereArts artistic team in preparing for a joint performance with the Festival Chorus in the magnificent surroundings of the 12th century Convento de Cristo in Tomar.
The ZêzereArts Festival provides the most extraordinary atmosphere for a choir trip: perfect for relaxation and for concentrated work. If singing, history, architecture and good food in beautiful surroundings with sunshine is your thing, then this is for you!

We were delighted to have two excellent choirs with us at the 2022 festival, they are the vocal ensemble “Birdsong” and the chamber choir “Ex Urbe” both from England and the award winning ensemble Cuore from Ireland in 2019. We look forward to welcoming exciting choral ensembles in the coming years.
