The ZêzereArts string courses are led by violinist, Luís Pacheco Cunha, first violin in the Lopes Graça quartet.
With many years of experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teacher, Luís is ideally placed to lead a workshop of this nature.

Luís Pacheco Cunha has appeared as a recitalist, chamber musician and soloist in major cities throughout Europe. He studied at the Moscow Conservatoire and the International Menhuin Music Academy as well as with teachers such as Zorya Chikhmourzaeva, Yossi Zivoni, Vasco Barbosa, Mikhail Kopelman, Sandor Végh, Yehudi Menhuin and Maria João Pires. Most recently he undertook an internship in orchestral conducting with Jean-Sébastien Béreau in Lisbon.
A founder member and 1st violin in the award winning Lopes-Graça quartet, Luís is professor of violin and chamber music at the national conservatoire in Lisbon. He has been involved in a huge range of performing and teaching projects and the Lopes-Graça quartet recently recorded the complete chamber works of Fernando Lopes-Graça and Joly Braga Santos.
