Laura Martins began studying music at the age of five, at the Conservatório de Música da Metropolitana, with violin as her first instrument. She concluded her studies at the Conservatório with distinction, and enrolled at the Escola Profissional Metropolitana and later at the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra, where she completed a bachelor degree in violin in 2019, studying under Ana Pereira. From 2016 to 2020 she collaborated with the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, performing at various concerts and festivals, both with the orchestra and in quartets.

She has participated in the ZêzereArts Festival since 2015, and sings soprano with Záve. She has wide experience as a choral singer, singing with a range of choirs, and is currently a member of Coro Ricercare. She is studying singing at the Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa under Manuela de Sá.

Laura has collaborated with various artists, including Jean-Mark Burfin, Pedro Neves, Pascal Verrot, Emilio Pomarico, Mykola Dyadura, Enrico Onofri, Evgeny Bushkov, Elvind Jensen, Aníbal Lima, Hagai Shaham, Kristjan Järvi, Sebastian Perlowsky, Jonathan Brown, Isabel Charisius, Tania Becker-Bender, Sebastian Schmidt, Augusto Trindade, Vítor Vieira, José Pereira, Christopher Schickedanz , Adrian Brendel and Kyril Zlotnikov.
