Grace Feltoe is an Australian/Maltese soprano originally from Perth, Western Australia. She studied music at the University of Western Australia, majoring in Music Studies and Specialist Music Studies (Piano Performance) under the guidance of Jana Kovar. Alongside her studies she trained in voice with renowned Australian teacher Megan Sutton, and participated in a variety of choirs in the English choral tradition, as well as pursuing solo endeavours.
She has specialised in sacred music and Catholic liturgical music and assumed cantor roles in the major churches of Perth, including St Mary’s Cathedral, St Patrick’s Basilica, St Paul’s Church, Divine Mercy Church, and New Norcia Benedictine Monastery, with whom she produced a CD ‘Adoro Te’ with Fr Robert Nixon, OSB.
As a soloist, Grace has performed in a variety of concerts and productions, including lead roles with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Western Australia, and as chorus of Massenet’s Manon.
In 2021, Grace assumed the role of co-director of the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity in Perth, as well as director of music for the chapel of the University of Notre Dame in Perth, before moving to Portugal.
In 2022, she founded ‘Gloria Dei – The Musica Sacra Project’, an online resource website for the education and revitalisation of traditional sacred music in the Catholic Church. Through her project, and in conjunction with the Dominican Liturgical Centre of Krakow, Poland, Grace has provided sacred music workshops in Krakow, London and Wimbledon since 2022, and continues to do so into 2024.
