The ZêzereArts Festival offers you the opportunity to work for four days and share the stage with the members of the Ensemble Pulcinella, exploring the world of French and Portuguese Baroque music.

Where?

The historic city of Tomar in the Médio Tejo region.

When?

July 20th – 24th 2022

The main work to be studied is the Charpentier Te Deum H 146, which will be performed on  July 23rd at the Convento de Cristo, UNESCO world heritage site and seat of the Knight’s Templar. The ZêzereArts festival choir will also perform in this concert – featuring about one hundred singers.

Spaces are available for a maximum of 10 violins, 3 violas, 2 cellos, 1 double-bass, 2 oboes (doubling recorder), 1 trumpet, 1 bass trumpet and 1 timpanist.

Requirements:

Applicants should be over 18;
Have experience playing historic instruments;
Be able to bring their own instrument.

Further Information:

Students will pay for their travel and accommodation (low budget accommodation is available on application);

Meals will be provided by the organisation;

The course will include two intensive sessions per day as well as full rehearsals with the ensemble Pulcinella; 

Students may also avail of the opportunity to attend other concerts during the Festival which takes place from the 14th to 31st of July;
